UPDATE - 2:30pm, Wednesday 24 February: UEFA EURO 2016 content for PES 2016 will launch on March 24, Konami has announced.
Available for free for all existing PES 2016 users on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, the publisher will also release a standalone game for both PlayStation platforms. Out on April 21, the disc version will include the full version of PES 2016 and will feature a brand new cover star.
With 15 of the 24 nations fully licensed (list below), as well as the world-famous Stade de France, Konami will run a "series of special myClub promotions", where users will be given the chance to sign the top performers from this summer's tournament.
Licensed: Albania, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, Wales.
Unlicensed: Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Poland, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland (kits will be generic but players should still be licensed).
According to the official website of Winning Eleven (the Japanese version of Pro Evolution Soccer), both Data Pack 3 and the EURO 2016 DLC will be available from April 21.
With Winter transfers and Dinamo Zagreb already confirmed for DP3 - and new boots and player faces also expected - the EURO 2016 in-game content will include the tournament's official match ball, trophy and host stadium for the Final the Stade de France.
As of this moment, Konami Japan have confirmed 15 of the 24 nations will be 'fully reproduced with registered players and uniforms'. According to Japanese gaming site GamerNeJp, they are as follows:
