A select group containing some of Europe's best PES players travelled to Switzerland this weekend to compete in one of the biggest tournaments of the year.
Today saw the grand final of the UEFA Youth League tournament - hosted at UEFA headquarters in Nyon - and it was Italy who claimed the glory as Ettore Giannuzzi aka VietKong90321 went on an impressive five-match unbeaten run to win the tournament.
After winning all three of his group stage matches - scoring 10 goals and conceding just one in the process - the Italian went through to the semi-finals where he then overcame UK representative Dexk with a nervy 2-1 victory.
Then, just like he did when he beat Japan's Subaru Sagano to become the PES 2011 World Champion, the teenager wrote his name into the record books, once again, with a 4-1 win against Germany's Turekinho.
Of course, we'd like to take this opportunity to send our best wishes to Ettore after yet another fantastic display at the top level. Complimenti!
