The European PES Team Leader hasn't tweeted in over two months.
However, posting live from your not-so-ordinary training session, hosted by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo (above), Jon Murphy revealed he's flying to Tokyo next week to check up on the series' new engine - coming later this year with the release of PES 2014.
After watching the PES 2013 cover star show off his skills at the Real Madrid training ground, in-front of a handful of lucky winners from Konami's Christmas Countdown competition, the PES Team Leader managed to tweet the following message:
"In Japan next week to check on the new engine. Today we've got training sessions with Ronaldo. Pics to follow #CR7 #PES"
When will an official announcement come? Your guess is as good as mine at the moment. Although looking back at similar situations, it looks like Konami are getting ready to shout.
