Konami have announced they have stopped releasing Data Pack 2 because of the ongoing freezing issues on PES 2013.
Similarly to Data Pack 1, if you had an option file which has data that's been imported from PES 2012, Data Pack 2 would have caused your game of PES 2013 to crash.
The PES Team posted the message below on their official Facebook page just moments ago:
"We have received reports that the game froze once the Data Pack 2.0 was applied to the game.
We are now investigating into this issue, but have stopped releasing the Data Pack 2.0 which seemed to be the cause of the issue.
It will be released again once the issue is solved.
Deep apologies for any troubles and inconveniences caused."
Although a release date has yet to be confirmed, it looks like a fix file is on its way.
Whether you want to believe it or not, right now, this is great news for the community. The fixed Data Pack 2 should allow any option file to be used without the risk of causing the game to crash.
So in other words; don't worry, option file creators - your hard work and sleepless nights have not gone to waste!
