If you've been following us on Twitter earlier this afternoon, you will know that the first day of the PES 2013 Brazilian press tour was explosive.

Konami were mega-busy today, showing off PES 2013 to a handful of lucky members of the press in a five-hour long exclusive playtest.

Both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions were available, and first impressions were generally very positive - with some playtesters even stating that the game is "already better than FIFA".

Videos and screenshots are embargoed for another three weeks until 1pm May 30th, when Konami will unveil all of this week's content to the world.

Regarding licensing deals, Jon Murphy hinted that Konami are going to wait until E3 (June 5-7) before announcing the new deals.

Jon also confirmed that Konami plan to show this particular code to "a wider audience fairly soon" - which is very exciting news for the community.

The most interesting thing we spotted today was when @nachoortiz tweeted to say he was playing a match between Real Madrid and Flamengo... at the moment, make of that what you will!

To finish off today, here is a selection of photos which were all taken today in Brazil from various members of the Konami team and the press. Make sure to check out the snap of when Jon Murphy - a huge Chelsea fan - bumped into ex-Blues manager André Villas-Boas too:
